r legacy, his children-Robin, Bill, Ken, Sandy, Patty, and Bernie. And until the day he died, was always saying how proud he was of them. He continued to repair appliances and at one time had his own business. Admittedly, his business acumen was lacking as his ability to collect his bills was effected by whatever mishap was relayed to him by his customers. He realized that his future was to work in the same field for someone else. He hooked up with General Electric Corporation, a happy day for sure. Regular paychecks combined with medical and dental benefits provided a way to care for his family that he couldn't accomplish on his own. With six kids, he rarely turned down overtime and although not wealthy in material ways, consistently provided a roof over their heads and food to eat. Five children married and nine grandchildren later provided him with more pleasure and bragging rights. He was considered the bionic man by his family after surviving a heart attack, multiple surgeries and septicemia. The love of his life left this earth almost four years to the day prior to his exit, a blow that he never really recovered from. After Emma was gone, he learned to drive a handicapped adjusted automobile and would go out two or three times a week to participate in his favorite pastime, trolling the aisles of Wegmans and investing in lottery tickets. He enjoyed going to the casino and spending time with his children and grandchildren. He will surely be missed, for who else can love you like a father and be so very proud of your every accomplishment, no matter how small. We love you, Dad and you will be missed.
