lly trained, his gorgeous bass-baritone voice was professional-level quality. He sang in many choruses including the Rochester Oratorio, the Greece Choral Society, the Eastman Rochester Chorus and many church choirs. After the devastating death of his wife, Joe adopted a 4 year old cocker spaniel at the Lollipop Farm. He named the dog "Brownie". He wanted to save a mature dog from euthanasia. Brownie was his devoted companion for four years and has now found a loving home with his next door neighbors, the Merkels. In recent years Joe patronized the Tip Top Restaurant, where he dined daily after Sue`s death. He was known as "Father Joe" by the staff and other patrons and will be missed by them and us all.
