rked for 3 years, then Purity Farms until Con Agra took over the bacon plant where he continued working until they closed the plant. In 2001, he retired and enjoyed his leisure time with vacations in Nashville, and going to Chicago to see the Cubs play. Other leisure time activities included watching sporting events on TV, Court TV, his cats, bicycle riding, karaoke, and seeing his daughter, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He enjoyed socializing with his friends and was a faithful member of Zion Lutheran Church. Norman is preceded in death by his mother, Lorraine, his adoptive mother, Alma; aunt, Lola; and his son-in-law, Randy “Whitey”. Survivors include his daughter, Janet and her fiancee Tracy; three grandchildren, Julie and her husband, James; Ryan and his wife, Gretchen; Roger; and three great-grandchildren, Blake, Bradly and Bentley, other relatives and many friends.
