rvice to anyone in need no matter the favor asked. As a retiree, he adopted his wife's gardening passion and love of nature and the two enjoyed visiting botanical gardens throughout the country. Bill never saw a car show, an opera, or an art show he did not like. They loved wintering in Naples after their retirements. Bill is survived by his beloved wife of 30 years, Linda H. Johnston; his children, William Mark Rogers; James Robert Rogers (Lynn Gatto); Richard Earl (Melissa Johnston) Rogers; Ryan Marshall, MD (Lori Skarosi, OD) Johnston; and his adored grandchildren, Harrison Riley and Olivia Noelle Rogers; Jackson David and James Maxwell Rogers; Peyton Louis, Marshall Louis, and Donovan Louis Johnston. He was preceded in death by his sister, Laura Abram. A celebration of Bill's life will be held at The Indianapolis Yacht Club, 12900 Fall Creek Road, McCordsville, IN 46055 on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 from 5:00 - 8:00 PM. Family and Friends are invited to share their stories. We will gather at 7:00 for those who wish to honor his life with a brief homily. Leppert Mortuary of Nora is handling his final arrangements. His eternal resting place will be the Columbarium of Second Presbyterian Church, 7700 North Meridian Street, Indianapolis, IN 46260.
