August 15, 1938 - November 5, 2012

Sun Prairie - June A. Gullixson Rideout, age 74, passed away on Monday, November 5, 2012 while at Agrace HospicCare Center in Fitchburg.

June was born on August 15, 1938 in Rockdale, WI, the daughter of Leon and Edna (Pederson) Calder.

June had many hobbies that included, camping, bowling, dancing with the Sun Prairie Town and Country Dance Club, cooking, her dogs and she enjoyed home decorating. June was a member of the Tuesday quilting club at the Sun Prairie City Hall and in the past was a local Avon representative. But most of all, June especially enjoyed spending her time with her children and her grandchildren.

June was a past member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Madison and a current member of Our Saviour's Lutheran Church in Sun Prairie.

June is survived by her husband, Tim Rideout; 3 children, Beth (Dan) Grasser, Tim Gullixson and Randy (Lori) Gullixson; 1 step daughter, Elizabeth (John) Danner; 9 grandchildren, Erik (Alice Schmidt) Duerr, Emily (Steve) Wangen, Rachel (Wade) Barker, Kirsten Grasser, Nathan, Ryan, Ashley, Matthew and Sarah Gullixson; 3 step grandchildren, Leigh, Mara and Jack Danner; 3 great grandchildren, Jaclynn, Ada and Lucia; 2 sisters, Carol Jean Halverson and Shirley (Paul) Thorstad and many nieces, nephews and other relatives.

June was preceded in death by her parents, first husband, David Gullixson on September 11, 1991 and her daughter-in-law, Kathleen Gullixson in 2008.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be directed to Agrace HospiceCare Inc. or Our Saviour's Lutheran Church.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Kristen and April and all the Team 4 staff Agrace HospiceCare for all the care and love they gave to June during her stay there.

Funeral services will be held at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church, 550 Lincoln Drive, Sun Prairie WI on Saturday, November 10, 2012 at 11:30 AM. Rev. Dr. David Berggren will officiate. A visitation will be held at the Cress Funeral Home, 1310 Emerald Terrace, Sun Prairie on Friday, November 9, 2012 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and also Saturday at the church from 10:30 AM until the time of service. Burial will conclude at Western Koshkonong Cemetery in Stoughton at 2:00 PM.
